Hi everyone,

If you have been with me for any amount of time, you know, I love being a therapist but I do not like being the center of attention.

However, when it comes to talking about therapy and why mental health matters, I will continue to share.

Recently, I was a guest on a podcast, where I was able to talk about both, including my journey.

Thank you to Marc and please support Casual Nonsense by giving a listen/leaving a review. They are on all the podcast platforms and talk about a lot of other fun things/have great guests.

Below is the podcast/some of the highlights.

Enjoy!

Hugs,

Anna.

Some of the things we get into:

*Mental Health Matters

*What a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Does and why this is important

*How my life turned upside down when I was 12

*Why I do not prescribe medication/diagnosis to my clients rather than knowing my job is, along with the person I’m connecting with, to accept you for who you are

*Therapy is for everyone as life is tough (we all come into a hurting world filled with pain and experience things that don’t make sense)

*What therapy is to me? Therapy is walking with my clients, seeing/feeling what is alive-true-active for you. My job is not to see what is wrong/prescribe you something/fix something. Life is a journey and its good to have someone with you to progress. I want you to know you don’t have to be alone while going through it.

And last….

*We all need a confidant and someone to journey with.

If you would like to explore what this could look like in a kind-open-compassionate and patient way, please reach out to me.
