I never met my fiancé’s grandfather.
His dad’s dad passed of an awful disease called ALS. (Lou Gehrig’s disease)
I have heard Chris share countless stories about his grandfather and the way he lived, carried himself, and cared for others, and one that continually comes to mind is…talk is cheap, it takes money to buy whiskey.
2025 has been a great year as I continue to invest in myself and my business.
Some highlights:
-Grounded in Compassion was a lead sponsor for my fiancée’s daughter’s elementary school. (One night, I passed out several hundred pens and stress balls with my logo on them)
-Several coffee meetings/Chamber of Commerce meetings I attended
-A podcast I was on at the beginning of the year
-Investing time in multiple online groups sharing info with other therapists who may have a client for me
And last
-Several hundred business cards Chris passed out, though his time in the car driving for his businesses.
We know that most people go to therapy in a reactionary state and not proactive (something changed in my life and I need to fix it, versus life is hard and I want someone to journey with), and together we heard many people say thank you for the cards/I need a therapist/I will call her soon.
While I still have plenty of room to grow and many people may call me soon, I’m proud.
I do what I do and am who I am for myself and others.
I heard it said recently that the best gift you can give anybody is a well-lived life of your own.
As we turn over Christmas and go into a new year, if you or someone you know is looking to give themselves that gift, I would be honored to chat.
