Through my work in Compassionate Inquiry, I know that much of how we act is a result of early childhood trauma and the effects that live in our bodies. Creating time and space for myself and processing my childhood trauma has helped enable me to sit with others and empower them in their work of discovering and processing their trauma.

While everyone has different degrees of trauma, trauma is inevitable and shows up in different ways. Similar to grief, I see the impact of sharing my journey in working through my trauma as beneficial. I never push them/take them deeper than what they are ready for as it’s about them and their process, and everyone works through and sits with this differently and with different timing.
